What does it mean when you have a green and red flashing light in CDPP?
The flashing light indicates that the space on your hard drive is low.
How to clean up CDPP in order to increase hard drive space.*
1. Close out of CDPP
2. Click on Start/Run and type cmd to open up a DOS prompt.
3. Change the director to RADinfo, for example C:\Radinfo.
4. Type ‘dicomcd I’ and hit enter. This will launch CDPP.
5. Open up Windows Explorer.
6. Go to the radinfo\dat folder.
7. Delete all files in the dat folder.
* Performing these steps will also reset all user accounts to just the administrator account. 

How can I set up automatic login when CD PowerPACS launches?
1. Click on File -> User Accounts
2. Highlight the user account you want to be set as the default user log on.
3. On the lower right side, check the box “Use this account for next login”.
4. Click Modify.
5. Click OK
The next time you log on to your PC CDPP will automatically launch. 

It seems to be taking longer to create CDs, what can I do to speed this up?
If you have had your CD burning system for a long period of time, patient studies have been written and deleted off of the hard drive hundreds of times. This can cause your hard drive to be fragmented. A fragmented hard drive can cause the system to take longer to store the information. To defragment your hard drive perform the following steps:

1. Close out of CDPP
2. Click on Start/Run and type "CMD" to open up a DOS prompt.

5. Open up Windows Explorer

This step is not mandatory in order to defrag. Performing these steps will also reset all user accounts to just the administrator account.  
Defrag the hard drive
8. Right click on My Computer.
9. Choose Manage.
10. Click on Disk Defragmenter.
11. Highlight on the volumes on the top right hand side and click the Analyze button below.
12. If the Analyzer recommends defrag, click the Defragment button. This may take upwards of an hour to complete depending on hard drive size.
13. Analyze each hard drive on your system.   

In the Rimage System Manager, it says “no recorders are present”, what is going on?
Check the FireWire cable to ensure it is properly connected. Stop then restart the Production Server.  

I am experiencing intermittent recording problems,
why is this and what can I do to prevent it?

Rimage has found that equipment that emits a strong electro-magnetic field can interfere with the recording process. Keep FireWire cables away from equipment such as Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) and other equipment that emits electro-magnetic interference.
